Who we are and when to contact each OPA company

A vacant job can create several different needs. An employer may want help recruiting and hiring someone while a staffing company carries the payroll. A healthcare organization may need a permanent leader. A partner may want to understand the business behind both services. Each request has a clear starting point.

The OPA RASA Group owns OPA Staffing and OPA People. Stephen Deason founded the Group and The OPA RASA Foundation in 2018. The Foundation is a separate nonprofit. Its free resources serve their own purpose alongside the companies’ hiring work. The service you need determines which organization to contact.

Contact OPA Staffing for hiring carried on its payroll

OPA Staffing recruits and hires for employers. It puts the candidate on its own payroll and carries the hire until the employer is ready to take it over. That gives an employer a specific arrangement to discuss when it needs people for the work.

The first useful question is whether that arrangement fits your opening. Describe the actual duties, working location, expected schedule, and timing. Explain who at your company will direct the work. Ask OPA Staffing how the proposed arrangement would operate for that assignment and how a later transfer would be handled.

OPA Staffing’s page also describes paid work alongside training and consulting for employers. Use the page to choose the conversation you need. An employer seeking candidates can say so directly. An employer asking about paid training can identify the work people would learn and the supervisory capacity available.

Your company should assign someone who knows the operating need to join the conversation. If payroll, purchasing, or another department must approve the arrangement, involve the responsible seat before making a commitment. The company needs to understand the service it is buying and the duties it will carry.

If you are considering a future need, say what is still undecided. A projected opening can start a useful discussion when both sides understand the timing. Tell OPA Staffing which decision your employer expects to make next, so the conversation can address it.

Contact OPA People for a permanent search

OPA People recruits leaders for healthcare organizations and nonprofits. Its page also describes healthcare clinical and revenue cycle searches. Start there when your organization needs to fill a permanent leadership or specialist role within those services.

Explain what the hire needs to accomplish. A role title gives the recruiter a starting point. The responsibilities, reporting relationship, and reason the role is open give the conversation substance. Say who can authorize the search and which decisions your organization has already made.

A nonprofit board considering an executive search can identify its authorized search contact. A healthcare employer can bring the operating leader responsible for the vacancy. The person speaking for the employer should be able to explain the work and obtain decisions from the people who hold that authority.

If your organization has several vacancies, describe each opening and its intended employment arrangement. A permanent search and a hire carried on OPA Staffing’s payroll require different discussions. Give the receiving team enough information to direct each need to the appropriate service.

Contact the Group about the wider relationship

Use the Group’s Contact page for a question about the Group itself or a proposed business relationship that spans its companies. State what you want to discuss and what your own organization can decide. A concrete proposal gives the receiving team something useful to consider.

For free guidance, visit The OPA RASA Foundation’s guides. The Foundation publishes free guides and helps people find help near them. Its pages offer starting points for people seeking help, employers and other helpers, business builders, and organizational leaders.

Before sending an inquiry, identify the job to be done, your intended timing, and the person who can discuss the next step. Send a staffing request to OPA Staffing, a leadership search request to OPA People, or a Group relationship question through the Group’s contact page.
